Insurance terms of use
These terms apply to the insurance pages of this website, along with the site's general terms. Effective October 25, 2026.
Information, not a policy or a quote
These pages give general information about insurance in California. They are not a policy, a quote, a binder, an application or an offer to insure. What a policy covers is set only by the policy the insurance company issues, with its declarations, conditions, exclusions and endorsements. If anything on this site differs from your policy, the policy controls.
Coverage starts only in writing
Sending a form, an email, a text or a voicemail does not start, change, renew or cancel coverage. Nothing changes until the insurance company issues or changes the policy, or Billy confirms in writing that the company has done so. Keep paying your current policy until the new one is in force.
Report claims to your insurance company
Do not report a claim or an accident through this website. Call the claims number on your policy or your insurance company's website as soon as you can. You can let Billy know afterward so he can help you understand the process.
Give complete and accurate information
Prices and eligibility depend on what you tell the insurance company. A wrong or missing answer on an application can lead the company to change the price, deny a claim or cancel the policy. If something changes, such as who lives in the home, how a property is used or how many employees you have, tell Billy or the company.
The insurance company decides
Each insurance company sets its own rules for whom it will insure and at what price. Billy can't promise that a company will accept a property, a business or a driver, or that a price will stay the same at renewal.
California only
Billy is licensed in California. These pages are written for California residents, properties and businesses.
Company names and logos
The insurance company names and logos on these pages belong to their owners and are shown with their permission to identify the companies Billy can offer. Showing a logo does not mean a company has approved you for coverage.

Links to government and other websites are there for your convenience. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for what they say.

How we collect and use your information is explained in the insurance privacy notice and the site's privacy policy.
