Burial and cremation planning in Inglewood

There is no right answer, only your answer. Here is what each choice involves, so the planning call can start from what matters to you.

Ground burial

A traditional service followed by burial in a grave. Decisions include the casket, an outer burial container if the cemetery requires one, the grave itself, the marker, and whether there is a viewing. If you already own a plot, bring the paperwork to the meeting.

Mausoleum

Entombment above ground in a crypt. Some families prefer it for visits, for weather, or for faith reasons. Crypt space is cemetery property and is arranged separately from funeral home services.

Cremation

Cremation can come before or after a service. Afterward the urn can be placed in a niche, buried, or kept by the family, within California rules. Planning ahead settles the questions that often divide families: whether to cremate at all, where the urn goes, and who decides.

Casket, urn and merchandise

You choose merchandise in person with a counselor, not from a discount website, and the plan records exactly what was chosen. Prices are on the funeral home's General Price List, shown at the meeting. Browse caskets and urns.
